How does Daxxify work?<\/h2>\n

Daxxify works the same as other neuromodulators. It is absorbed by the nerve and blocks release of acetylcholine which is the neurotransmitter needed for muscle contraction. It is coated with a peptide which is positively charged and therefore has a high affinity to the cell membrane.<\/p>\n

This positive charge allows the Daxxify to enter the cell easily and a larger amount of the product can get into the cell. The more neurotoxin enters the cell the more effective it will be and the longer it will last.<\/p>\n

How long does it last?<\/h2>\n

Studies have shown that this product can last up to 6 months and some instances even longer up to 9 months. Keep in mind that everyone is different but you can expect that at 4 months when your usual neurotoxin wears off this one may still have over 50% efficacy which means some result will still be present.<\/p>\n

What is the difference between Botox and Daxxify<\/h2>\n

  1. It is a vegan product unlike other products that have albumin which is a protein found in blood of humans and animals this one has a synthetic peptide which is a chain of amino acids.<\/li>\n
  2. It may last longer than other neurotoxins. Up to twice as long.<\/li>\n
  3. Fast onset. It begins to work within 1-2 days. It will still take 2-3 weeks to see the full result but you can start to notice a difference within 48 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The side effect profile is similar to the other neurotoxins, ptosis, headache, bruising all between 0-2% risk.<\/p>\n
