The Founding Flagship

Hormone Care With a Bench Behind It

Testosterone replacement therapy in Tampa is prescriptive medicine, so it lives on the licensed clinical side of this office. Three advanced-practice providers work here, Marla Schenck, APRN, Ashton Fink, ARNP, and Emilie Pham, NP, and Dr. Tali Arviv, MD has set the clinical standard since she founded the practice in 2014. Fourteen people work at this location across clinical and support roles, the largest team of our three cities, and the wellness programs have run here longer than anywhere else we practice.

Researching hormone care for women instead? Bioidentical pellets live on our hormone replacement therapy page; TRT is the men's program, with its own diagnostic panel.

The panel-first sequence is the house rule everywhere we practice: our Miami location runs it for TRT, and Ocala's wellness programs hold to it too.

What a Plan Involves

Three Tests, Four Formats, One Standard

Testosterone therapy carries documented benefits and documented risks, and weighing that trade-off for your body is what the consult and the blood work are for.

Three Tests Before Treatment

Total testosterone, luteinizing hormone, and prolactin come back from the lab before anyone writes you a plan.

An Advanced-Practice Team

Three advanced-practice providers work out of this one office, the deepest clinical roster of our three cities.

Four Formats, One Calendar

Injections, gels, patches, or pellets, with your follow-up labs set on a pre-determined schedule.

New patients start with a paid consultation that applies toward the treatment plan, and flexible financing is available when a program runs across months.

What to Expect

From First Visit to Follow-Up Labs

The plan comes after the panel, at this office and every other one we run. Four steps take you from the first conversation to the follow-up labs that keep the plan honest.

The Consult

You talk through your symptoms, medications, smoking history, and overall health with a provider.

Three Tests

Blood work measures total testosterone, luteinizing hormone, and prolactin, and those results carry the decision.

Your Plan

With low T confirmed, your provider builds the plan around the format that fits your life, whether that is an injection, gel, patch, or pellet.

Repeat Labs

Your levels are tested again on a pre-determined schedule, and the dose moves with what the labs say.

The Panel Decides

Am I the Right Candidate?

Low testosterone is a laboratory finding rather than an account of your week, so this starts with a blood panel and an exam. If the numbers are normal, this is not your treatment.

Reasons to Get Tested

  • Muscle you used to hold is not holding, and the fatigue has outlasted every explanation you had for it.
  • A diagnostic panel is what you want, rather than a questionnaire that ends in a prescription.
  • Choosing a delivery form with a provider matters to you more than getting whichever one is standard.
  • Scheduled monitoring reads as reassuring to you rather than as a hassle.

What a Normal Result Means

  • A panel reading in range sends the search somewhere else rather than starting treatment anyway.
  • Testosterone therapy can affect fertility, so any plans there are discussed before a first dose rather than after.
  • Prostate history, sleep apnea, and any blood or heart condition each shape what is appropriate.
  • Age is not what qualifies you. A man in his thirties can test low while a man in his sixties tests normal.

Three advanced-practice providers work at Westchase under Dr. Tali Arviv, MD, and your dose follows your panel rather than a protocol applied across the board. Book a consult to get tested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who provides hormone care at the Tampa office?

The clinical roster here includes three advanced-practice providers, Marla Schenck, APRN, Ashton Fink, ARNP, and Emilie Pham, NP, working to standards Dr. Tali Arviv, MD has set since founding the practice in 2014. Hormone programs at this office are carried by Marla Schenck, APRN; which provider you see on any given visit is set when you book.

What forms does testosterone therapy come in?

Injections, topical gels, patches, or small pellets placed under the skin. Your provider talks through the trade-offs of each at your consult and can cover peptide options in the same conversation if you want them explained.

Is this the same program as hormone replacement therapy?

No. Hormone replacement therapy is our women’s program built around bioidentical pellets, while TRT is written for men. Both begin with blood work, and TRT sits alongside a fuller men’s treatment menu at this office.

What happens if my panel comes back normal?

We treat lab-confirmed low testosterone, so a normal panel means no TRT prescription. Your provider goes over what else could explain your symptoms, including whether medical weight loss or another supervised wellness program is the better fit.
