Mole and Wart Removal · Ocala, Florida
Mole and Wart Removal in Ocala
At our Ocala office, a physician-led evaluation determines what a mole or wart is before any removal is planned.
An Honest Look, First
The Consultation Is the Point
A mole and a wart start the same way here, with an unhurried look and a plain answer. A mole is read on color, border, size, and change, the four markers the AAD’s mole guidance covers. Most are routine and come off by shave or simple excision. One that reads differently is named out loud, with tissue sent out or a referral when warranted. We assess. We do not diagnose. A soft flap in a skin fold points to skin tag removal, and a torn or stretched lobe to earlobe repair.
Warts have their own toolkit. Cryotherapy does most of the work, and when a wart’s location or history calls for a different in-office method, the method changes. The AAD’s wart overview describes the same options. Ours is the only Arviv location whose public listing carries the Plastic surgeon category, and every removal planned here sits under the medical oversight Dr. Tali Arviv, MD has held since founding the practice in 2014.
Candour, In Practice
Why an Ocala Visit Starts With a Look
What happens before the removal is the reason to bring a growth here.
Assessment Before Removal
Your mole is read on color, border, size, and change. One that belongs with a dermatologist is named at that visit, never quietly removed.
Method Matched to the Wart
The method is matched to where your wart sits and how long it has been there. A plantar wart and a knuckle wart never share a plan.
A Physician-Founded Practice
Our Ocala listing is the only one of our three carrying the Plastic surgeon category. Every removal is planned inside a physician-founded medical practice.
Mention keloid-prone skin at your consult, since it changes how a removal site is planned and closed. If the site leaves a texture or tone change, CO2 laser resurfacing is worth asking about. Financing options are available if cost is part of your decision.
What to Expect
What Happens at Your Removal Visit
Four steps, and the assessment in step two decides the rest.
Examination
The growth is examined up close for size and location, and a mole also for color, border, and any change.
Decision
You hear the plan first, either a cosmetic removal or a medical opinion, with a referral made when warranted.
Removal
A routine mole comes off by shave or excision. A wart gets cryotherapy or the method its location calls for. Tissue that needs review is sent out.
Aftercare
Written aftercare instructions go home with you. If tissue went to pathology, you are told the timing and how the result reaches you.
One Trip, Usually
Am I the Right Candidate?
One call is made before anything is removed, cosmetic or medical first. For a straightforward growth, the look and the removal fit inside one appointment.
Growths Worth Bringing In
- A growth bothers you and you want it read before it is touched.
- A wart has been there long enough that you want the method matched to where it sits.
- One drive covering the assessment and the removal together is what makes this practical.
- You would want tissue sent out for evaluation if the situation called for it.
What Turns This Medical
- Color, border, size, and any change are read together, and a growth belonging with a dermatologist is named as such in the room.
- A wart on the sole and a wart on a knuckle never share a plan, so cryotherapy is a choice here rather than a default.
- Where tissue goes to pathology, you are told how long it takes and how the result reaches you.
- Warts are viral, so recurrence is possible and a plan can outlast the appointment you booked.
This office decides whether something needs a second look rather than diagnosing it, and nothing comes off before you have been told what it is. Book a consult in Ocala for that read.

What Arviv Guests Say About Minor Procedures
No review of our Ocala office names a mole or a wart, though a guest at another of our Florida offices describes having a wart taken off. What the Ocala record does carry is honest recommendations and no pressure, which is what matters while you are still deciding whether something needs looking at. Read more reviews from guests across all three Florida locations.
“I had a wart on my cheek since I was 12/13. I was very insecure about it. My parents didn’t see a need to get it removed because it was “non threatening”. However, I’m getting married in a few weeks, and just didn’t want it there anymore. Marla and her crew took the best care of me. It was quick and painless.”
“I would like to take the time and express how thankful I am with the service I received. Samantha took the time and answered all the questions I had. She was very gentle and kind. I will definitely return.”
“I highly recommend Medical Arviv. Uncompromising service and quality, personal and good treatment, highly professional staff with the latest equipment. Everyone who receives treatment at this place wins.”
Individual results vary. Reviews describe one guest’s experience and are not a promise of outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you decide if my mole needs a medical opinion instead of a straightforward removal?
Your provider tells you at the same visit, based on how the mole’s color, border, size, and any change read together, the four markers the AAD’s public mole guidance also covers. A mole that deserves more than a cosmetic removal means tissue sent out or a referral. We decide whether to look twice; we never diagnose.
What makes this office different from a walk-in mole or wart removal kiosk?
The evaluation step. Every removal we plan happens inside our physician-founded medical practice, so your growth gets an unhurried look and a straight answer from us before anything is scheduled. A same-day pop-in that removes whatever it is handed skips the one part of the visit that matters most.
Does the Plastic surgeon listing mean a plastic surgeon removes my wart?
The category reflects the board-certified plastic surgeon the practice names on its public profile, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, and it speaks to the practice’s standards rather than to any single appointment. Which credentialed provider is part of your visit is confirmed at the consult, never promised in advance.
Do I need a consultation before removal, or can I book removal directly?
For a straightforward growth, the look and the removal often happen in the same visit, so the consultation rarely costs you a second trip. It confirms plainly that yours is a straightforward case, and it is where a growth that needs more than a cosmetic removal gets caught early.
