Wrinkle and Fine Line Treatments
Arviv Medical Aesthetics treats wrinkles and fine lines with neurotoxins, fillers, collagen stimulators, and resurfacing in Miami, Tampa, and Ocala, under Dr. Tali Arviv, MD.
Understanding the Concern
What Causes Wrinkles and Fine Lines
Wrinkles and fine lines come from two places at once. Repeated expressions fold the skin in the same spots, while collagen, volume, and sun protection thin out over the years, so a fold that used to smooth out begins to stay. Treating them well means knowing which of those two is driving each line on your face. Dr. Tali Arviv, MD built this practice around that read, and it shapes every plan made at our three Florida offices.
Treatment Matched to Line Type
Lines that deepen when you move and lines that stay at rest respond to different treatments, so your provider watches your face in motion before recommending anything.
A Wide Product Range
More than 15 filler formulations and four neurotoxins are stocked here, so your plan is built around your anatomy rather than one product.
Physician-Set Protocols
Dr. Tali Arviv, MD sets the injection and resurfacing protocols at all three Florida locations, and every provider you see trains under them.
A Quick Decision Aid
Comparing Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
Most faces carry more than one kind of line, so treat this as a starting map rather than a prescription. The dermatology guidance on younger-looking skin sorts the options the same way.
| Feature | Lines From Movement | Lines at Rest | Crepey Texture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where we usually start | Botox | Dermal fillers or Sculptra | Microneedling RF or CO2 resurfacing |
| What it addresses | Relaxes the muscles that fold the skin into forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet | Restores support under folds that stay visible when your face is still | Prompts your skin to rebuild collagen across a wider surface |
| Typical downtime | Little to none | Possible swelling or bruising for a few days | A day or two for RF, about a week for CO2 |
Not sure which column you fall into? Your provider reads your face at rest and in motion, then builds the plan around what they see.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wrinkle and Fine Line Treatments
What is the difference between Botox and fillers for wrinkles?
Botox relaxes the muscles that fold your skin, so it suits lines that appear when you move. Dermal fillers add volume under a line that stays visible at rest. Many plans use both, and your provider decides which lines get which at your consult.
When should I start treating fine lines?
There is no set age. Most guests come in once a line stays visible after their face relaxes, or when makeup starts settling into it. A consult is the right moment to ask, because your provider can tell you whether a line needs treatment yet or whether skin care alone is enough for now.
Can one appointment cover more than one treatment?
Often, yes. Neurotoxin and filler are commonly placed in the same visit. Resurfacing such as CO2 laser resurfacing is usually scheduled separately so your skin can recover, and your provider sets the order.
Are all of these treatments offered at every location?
