The P-Shot, also known as the Priapus Shot, is a PRP treatment for male sexual wellness. It uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood and is administered under physician oversight at our Westchase Tampa flagship.

The practice founded by Dr. Tali Arviv, MD, in 2014 began in Tampa, where platelet-rich plasma remains part of the regenerative treatment offering. The same PRP preparation process used for the P-Shot is also used for facial, scalp, and other regenerative treatments across the practice, following established clinical protocols for collection, processing, and administration.
The P-Shot is offered for male sexual wellness and performance concerns, while the O-Shot is available for female sexual wellness. Whether either treatment is appropriate depends on your individual health history, symptoms, and treatment goals, which are reviewed during consultation.

Draw and Spin
A small blood sample is spun in an office centrifuge until the plasma separates and the platelets concentrate into PRP.
Same-Day Treatment
The concentrated platelets are administered by your provider in a private treatment room, with the full procedure completed during the same appointment. No downtime is built into the treatment itself.
Aftercare and Follow-Up
Written aftercare instructions are provided following treatment. A follow-up visit is typically scheduled 8 to 12 weeks later to assess your progress and review the treatment plan.

Our Westchase flagship sits on Countryway Boulevard, close for guests from Citrus Park, Carrollwood, and Town 'n' Country on the Hillsborough side and from Oldsmar and Safety Harbor across the Pinellas line, with evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. How do I prepare for a P-Shot visit?
PRP treatments across our practice follow one prep protocol. With your prescribing doctor’s sign-off, pause anti-inflammatory medication three to four days ahead and aspirin a week ahead. Skip alcohol for two to three days, then eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water the day of your visit. Your provider walks through the complete list at your consult.
Is there downtime after a PRP treatment?
The treatment itself builds in no downtime, so you can return to your day. Aftercare still matters: hold anti-inflammatories for two weeks (Tylenol is fine), skip hot baths and saunas for the first few days, and keep alcohol off the calendar for a week.
Will my visit stay private?
Yes. You are seen one patient at a time in a private treatment room, and nothing in this category is photographed or published at any Arviv location. Even the review on this page never names a treatment, and that is by design.
